Are ADUs allowed in Bend, Oregon?

Yes, the City of Bend allows ADUs in all Residential Zoning Districts and a few other zoning districts. Only one ADU is permitted per lot or parcel, and there are other requirements to meet. You can review Bend ADU requirements on the City of Bend website.

If you live in a neighborhood with CC&Rs, the CC&Rs for your neighborhood may restrict ADUs, so be sure to review those to confirm your property is eligible for an ADU.

Are ADUs allowed in Deschutes County?

Yes, ADUs are allowed in Deschutes County. There are restrictions on the type of property and zoning requirements that must be met. As long as your property meets the requirements, you are able to apply for a permit to build an ADU in Deschutes County. See the Deschutes County website for ADU requirements and information.

Do you specialize in building a specific type of ADU?
